You could try to pickle it in greengage gin?
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Don't you have a freezer HG? Slice it, cover it in gravy and freeze it. Make pies from it. Chilli, soup, loads if things you can do.
Or freeze it whole for when you can eat it with the family.
We have a freezer, but it's full of other stuff for Christmas!

I need to loose weight and this won't help..

..now where's the ketchup, I'd better get eating..

I’m happy to report that not *all* of Christmas has been cancelled: my Sunday morning coffee is made using Bettys Christmas Coffee. We have four bags of the stuff and if I take it steady it may be sufficient to last until next weekend.

Not content with spreading the new variant amongst themselves they are hell-bent on spreading it throughout the country! Unbelievable. Go home. Please.

I remember years ago when BJ was mayor of London there were posters everywhere telling Londoners how special they were, along the lines of: " When you are in the country why do you walk faster than everyone else? It's because you are a Londoner" and other such facile slogans. I amused myself by thinking up my own versions such as: "In a country pub why does everyone leave when you come in? It's because you are a Londoner." and "Why do you always talk so loudly everyone else can hear? It's because..etc." It is time to think up some new ones so any ideas anyone? (Suggestions from any Londoners out there are welcome as well!)

And Europe it seems. An increasing number of countries are banning flights from the UK, though for some odd reason I can't quite fathom, the Netherlands, which was the first to ban flights is still allowing ferries and trains. Stena Line is expecting more customers for tonight's boat as a result, even though it leaves from Tier 4.
I bet they don't all have a negative test result and won't go into 14 day quarantine when they get here.

Luckily the Belgians have banned Eurostar trains so they won't be able to get through to us either. French are considering it.

Go France, stop the trains!

The footage from the london stations was a joke!

And how did they all get tickets??!

after reading the gov.uk page we now have Honesty and her other half booked in a local hotel for two nights, all above board and legal.

So until Bozo the clown and the Westminster circus change things again....

Passengers on ferries now banned in Netherlands and Belgium and in France from midnight, along with trains. Ireland is also planning to ban travel.
They removed the passengers from the Hull and Newcastle ferries, not sure about the Harwich one, but if they are on board they can't disembark.

New Covid mutation - Europe cut off.
Too late I fear.

Meanwhile, in the world of really important things ...

A while ago, my son in law asked his 5 year old daughter to hide the Christmas present for his wife. 5 year old hid it. And now she can't remember where . Unlike Brexit deals, the deadline for finding it can't be changed.

As long as the present/s for the five year old are safe, all will be well.
