Sorry to hear about your difficulties Alan, I hope everything gets back to normal quickly. You should have moved into the caravan its much smaller to heat.

Ha!
Friday night in Perth. What a parallel.
Social integration that nearly matches Dam square in Amsterdam.
So much inspiration for making images.

So after getting back to the house, Forest Gump is on TV.
Does that make this Friday night any better for me?
Hmmmm er yes.
Wishing all a great weekend

I see that new campervan getting lots of use in the future then!8 weeks to flexible retirement
His Nibs retired a couple of years ago, and has been working ever since. I had him home most of February, but he is booking more and more time as work again. Probably because he has realised how much work I have lined up for him here now the weather is improving. I hope he doesn't work all through the summer like he did last year .
But his work is another reason why I wonder if we'll get enough use out of a camper

Gwyn, that's a shame. We are away many weekends and for full weeks in the current van. It is the only vehicle we have.
I will continue to work two days a week in my old job. Seems a good arrangement to me until my other half can retire.

You are a mere baby. Your whole life ahead of you. Think of all the beers you still have time to consume

Ours went when it was -10C what is more - that was really painful.
The new one cost an arm and a leg and the fitting of it another arm. The electricity bill was pretty grim, but I kept the log fire burning as much as I could, and went to my son's for a shower and a warm up.
Hope you are back in the warm, and the black, soon.
