My crocus are not showing very well so far, hopefully they will be lurking ready to burst upwards in March. I planted 90, saw about 40 last year and have three so far this year. This may not be working very well.
Best regards, John

Crocuses, snowdrops and daffodils in bloom here, the dogwood is in bud, and the mahonia is just turning yellow.
Oh and a rose is flowering.
Winter just never arrived here.

Crocus and snowdrops out here as well. Lets hope the snow is waiting until 2090, it won;t bother us then!

The phone upgrade saga continues.

I visited EE this morning and got a bright shinny new phone, even though the SIM had only been used unce in the last 3 months, no top up and no problem.

The phone I got was cheaper and mord powerfull than the one I tried to get from P*****4* last month!
Cheers, HG

I have various things growing in my garden.

I a completely incapable of identifying them, but some appear to be green.

It must be nearly spring - I have just mot'd the car

Damn phones won't work and the internet is very very slow - but not as slow as bt are in fixing the problem

Winter Olympics nearly over. Watched the speed skating, but nothing else. Couldn't get excited about curling (sorry you Scots). It's a bit like marbles, only less exciting.

Our car still has three years to go before it needs an MOT thank goodness.
Sun shone briefly which made it look like spring, even if it didn't feel like it. Tomorrow is supposed to be warmer, so I may venture into the garden for some pruning and tidying.

Seems like this is the place for this. The Canadian Lancaster will be in the UK in August for several weeks. Probably based at Coningsby. Apart from seeing two Lancs together there are also several other combinations that spring to mind; Lancs and Vulcan, Lancs and Red Arrows, Lancs and Typhoon/Tornados, oh be still my beating heart!

Quick query, if a thread isn't posted to does add notification get turned off automatically. This seems to have happened a few times for this thread anyway. I was beginning to think it had closed

No I don't think notification gets turned off by design. But like you I find it gone, not just on this thread. I put it down to Gremlins

I'm going to wash our car this week prior to heading down to Llanelli to watch the Scarlets v Munster game on Saturday

So for anyone watching the game on tv (S4C at 6.30), you may see me in the crowd and still have no idea that you have

That has to be one of my more pointless posts
