Here they say 2 pieces of fruit and 2 ons (200 gram) vegetables.

So that would be 2 glasses of wine not 5
Don't know what you can drink for the vegetables

Is it okay to sing along with Disney songs if you're older than twenty-two?

I'm asking here because the niveau lays a bit lower here, certainly after some beer and whisky.

After beer and whisky you can sing along to anything Stefan

I do.

It has to be an awful lot of the afore mentioned though.

I can also sing in Swedish (a language I don't speak!) in that state too!

We were never really into Disney with our kids - but

Oh I can remember the excitement of seeing Snow White in the cinema as a child and then afterwards I got some sort of cut out figures of the characters in a type of plastic , which slotted into stands and let me move them around and 'play ' Snow White that way

OH DEAR - really giving my age away with that memory

Blimey tech !!

You think you got problems ??

I remember Snow White when there were only 5 dwarfs,Bambi`s mother was still unsullied, and the Sorcerer didn`t even have an apprentice !

I must admit, along with Gwyn that the present Disney feels more like a cult than a children`s story teller - on the lines of Coca Cola and McDonalds.

Takes me all my time to get into the iggle piggles and the other assorted oddball characters on CBEEBIES.

Off for 9 holes with my lady now - overcast but warm ( the weather not Jo ! ).

Iggle Piggle is ... hmm. At least Alvin only lasted a week or so. Heffalumps are much more her thing.

Yeah I know what you mean, I was talking just before the turning point so Bambi, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and the last one would be Lion King before it went down hill.

Now I'm often watching Ghibli movies, you should look them up once
Grave of the Fireflies is from them and it's the only animation I've had tears from in my eyes and I watched that movie when I was 19.
Princess Mononoke is a classic, a lot of action.
Spirited Away is one of the best know one here and won a lot of awards
I also really liked Howl's Moving Castle, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, My Neighbor Totoro and Whisper of the Heart.

I quite agree with you there Stefan. Channel 4 (I think) ran a Ghibli season recently, got to see some that I've missed.

OK I admit it, I do have a copy of Fantasia. Downhill all the way after that though.

I'll even admit to a visit to Disneyland, the original one, back when they still had E-rides. It was their 25th anniversary and we had free tickets, including for all E-rides. I think that really did it for me though.

Luckily the Grandsons don't care for Disney either.
