Hope no Pentax Users work for the Inland Revenue.
Three weeks ago I had a decent cheque because of overpayment. Today a letter to say I underpaid by roughly the same amount. Grrr May they they be blessed with jammed shutters, dud batteries and badly off Prawns.

Speaking of beer...
My 'Stag' is this weekend... I'm expecting to be kidnapped at 5pm tomorrow and taken to god knows where for the weekend...
It's normal to be more nervous of the Stag than the wedding right?

So we won't know where to send the search party then, after they leave you naked and gaffer taped to a lamppost.
Enjoy you stag do Dave. I'm sure your mates wouldn't be so cruel as to do that to you.
One of my sons didn't have a stag do, the other went 4x4ing with mates. They took him out for the evening, and he stayed sober because he thought he had to work the following morning. It got later and later and he said he had to go because of work. They wouldn't let him go and he got really panicky. Eventually they told him they'd organised with his boss for someone else to do the programme the next day. Only after he'd phoned and checked it was so did he relax. Of course not being drunk met he was then fit for 4x4ing the following day. They all had a terrific time.
His lovely lady meanwhile was dressed as a telly tubby in a major shopping centre in Utrecht. Don't ask, way to complicated a story .

I love this country.
In March the news was that it was very cold so we should all stay indoors because the cold is dangerous.
This morning the news was that it is very hot so we should all stay indoors because the heat is dangerous.
Have we all really become so intolerant to changing temperatures?

I've just escaped from a superheated kitchen after doing some essential ironing.
Despite all my precautions it was an unpleasant experience
