another moon photo

just found the settings using
a exif viewer and it says
smc 55-300 set at 300
0.7secs f11 iso 400
manual mode using a tripod sr off

Well, I really like it. I was trying to take the same shot that night but mine didn't come out anything like that.

The thing I like about it is that we all know what the moon looks like so this gives it some feeling and mystery.

In this shot its the moon thats illuminating the clouds so moving it to one side of the frame would result in poorly lit clouds in the opposite corner
The only way around this would be to shoot the moon fairly central and then crop so its in the desired position afterwards.

And yes I like this shot too, depite the fact its a bit central
