It has the same number of lens elements as it has aperture blades.
It cost me almost as much in pounds as it's age in years. Which was a fair price.
This shot isn't taken at either its maximum aperture or closest focusing distance.

There's a reason there isn't much in the exif info, and it's not that I've deleted it.

Here's another image then, taken a few minutes after the first shot and also f4 with the same lens. Now the clue: it was f4 because DOF was far too shallow wide open.

And a last clue with an image before I'm off to bed.
Just before the daffodils this little beauty was all on its own growing wild in the grass. Wide open it shows the dreamy quality I bought the lens for - it should be good for portraits (hint,hint) if I actually get the focus right.
