An Urban Abstract

This was taken in the Leadenhall district of London, near the Lloyds building which is a genius piece of work IMO, in that it wears its guts on the outside. Although this abstract shot came from jus' across the road.

I've not thought of a title for it yet though.

Fascinating shot Paul. You've selected the lines and angles expertly. The first building I was aware of with the 'guts' on the outside was the Pompidou Centre which leaves me cold as a piece of architecture but this building of yours looks more attractive to me.

You do realise this pic is NOT the Lloyds building?

Another great shot, Paul. I wonder how many photographers stand in front of the Lloyd's building and haven't got the vision to turn around and take a shot in the opposite direction.

Hiya, Paul,

I don't usually comment on your photos because they're all so beautifully executed and thought-provoking that it would be a bit repetitive. Try posting a bad one every now and then to make it more interesting. In the meantime, here are my compliments in advance on the next shots you post. I think I'm on safe ground.

Cheers

Al
