It was one of those high pressure situations with the wife tutting at me to hurry up.
Haha yes I know that situation. If I want to do serious photography i go on my own now !

You've spotted Algi out and about then?
Yes, and he can often come across as quite wooden

A good strong portrait, you've got the owl staring you down!

He was, yeah, probably because I asked him to sign a model release form.

It is uncanny though

goes well against the dark background
Agreed, background suits and shows the subject off nicely without allowing the eye to wander
Thanks all for your comments, glad you like the shot. It was one of those high pressure situations with the wife tutting at me to hurry up. Maybe I'll print it out and give it to her as a present

Yep, we've all been there! Now my wife walks on which is good as the 3 kids follow her and leave me in peace ...... until I catch up and have the death stare !!

Taken at Drayton Manor theme park zoo last week, I waited ages for this guy to look in my direction.
