Nice bike. You were lucky with the weather indeed. I spent the day watching branches of our trees being blown down and praying they missed the dogs and the car.

There's a couple of Norton's in there at the moment Don. The owner, Bob Wood, preps them and sponsors a team that competes at the IOM.That first one brings back a memory or 3, they had a Velo in the garage last time I looked.
A couple of shots of Manx's from last October.

I was about to say is that a Ford Anglia in the background of the opening image! I like the classic design look to your bike, even has drum brakes on the rear
Ditch the top box though, it looks so out of place!

If you hadn't realised, that was the Scripps garage in Aidensfield that featured in many episodes of Heartbeat, hence the police Ford Anglia parked there. Still waiting for its annual service!!

If we ever have a PU pub quiz I want to be on your team.

I have a Ford Pop that took part in the filming, albeit in The Royal rather than Hearbeat. If you look out for the episode, The May Queen, the car and myself were fairly prominently featured. Cameos in other episodes too! The car is kept around half a mile from the building that featured as the hospital in The Royal.
I can't post screen shots as the production crew were using proper video equipment, not Pentax's!
The car is only one of two 1962 models still still licensed to drive on UK roads. (There are other earlier ones around too.)

Tend to agree Gareth but unfortunately it's needed to carry a camera, large chain lock, disc lock and from time to time my helmet sits in there with gloves etc. It also has my high level rear brake light incorporated. I see some motorcyclists wearing back packs, that can be quite dangerous in the event of a tumble depending what's in the back pack as can be a spine killer.Ditch the top box though, it looks so out of place!
The rest of the rear chrome frames carry the side panniers when extra luggage capacity is needed.
