Most of today's reality TV shows rely on the contestants greed, either for money or success. This listing is relying on that same greed.

All the information is there to say that this is a con, but only if the buyer wants to see it.

In this case, the buyer has seen only Canon 7D and lens for £500.00.

Years ago (many years unfortunately) a bloke came into my shop with a leather jacket saying he had a vanload of them to clear cheap and I could have 3 for £200. I unwrapped it from its plastic and it looked good .. so the bartering began. Got him down to £100 (which was a fair amount in those days) and he agreed, huffing and puffing that I was a hard negotiator and no one else had got them so low but he had to clear his stock.

Anyway, he went out to the van and got 3 new jackets .. I paid him the £100 and he left.

Only later when I unwrapped them to show off my bargain did I find out that they were PVC

As you say .. only made that mistake once.

If only you had a van load of truncheons to clear at the same time.

Equally, he might just be posting a sob story in an attempt to provoke sympathy. We've all heard the tales about supposedly destitute beggars seen strolling off to their parked BMW at the end of a successful day...

The leather jacket man wasn`t an Italian by any chance was he Mike ?

My Italian boss got ripped off by two "eyeties" selling from the back of their car after a trade show in Manchester ( purportedly ) swore blind to us they were a bargain and leather - turned out to be a rubber synthetic fabric - tee hee - he wore them out of spite !!

Looking on Ebay at the sellers feedback, he's done the same again with a pushchair PICTURE for £350. Nasty, maybe i'll be extra careful on any quick impulse buying!!!

Well, I just reported them. If ebay wants to entertain this kind of person they will very quickly loose my business.

Still,

Could be worse.....You could've actually purchased an actual 7D!

At least the picture would look nice on the wall of my shed!!

Also. Would I actually be stealing from this seller if I downloaded the image from ebay and printed it myself?

I'm probably not allowed to say what I really think of him.
