AF540FGZ on 645D ?

The format settings refer to the different aspect ratios and focal lenghts. As far as I can see to camera and flash are compatible.

just idle curiosity, I note that the AF540FGZ has a 645 setting, presumably for film format 645 cameras, anyone know if this would be suitable for use with the 645D, or would you need to send the gun to pentax to update the firmware ?
