This weekend took myself and John941 across to Bury for the Winter steam Gala on the East Lancashire Railway, We had arranged to meet up with David for the day to do a spot of photography and some railway chat. Anyway here are a few of my photos to start the thread, I know David and John had taken a few shots that they were particularly pleased with and I think I can remember which ones they are! so I`ve picked out some of mine that hopefully wont clash. It was lovely to meet you yesterday David and hopefully we shall meet at future Gala`s. #1 Tank engine 80080 and ex SR locomotive 850 Lord Nelson prepare to leave Bury Satation #2 Black Five #3 Photographer, John941 himself #4 Photographer #2 David eyeing up the shot #5 my favourite engine, The Duke of Glouster

Would be great to meet you Alan, Best place to meet is on Bury Bolton St station itself, easy to find just follow the signs for the ELR once you are in Bury.

Here`s a link for the ELR site.link We plan to be there for about 9am for a good parking spot.
