A not too happy Elk

A bit too "up close and personal" for me! Elk are not to be messed with.

It might have been a different story with a bull European Elk (Moose).
We saw Roosevelt Elk in the PNW, from a safe distance I hasten to add, and not during the rut. They are bigger than red deer and I wouldn't want to get close to a rutting red deer either.
I'm glad he was OK, and I hope other 'togs learn from this video. I have seen people chasing mother bears with cubs trying to get a photo .
