A dull Sunday

Took my camera out for a walk today and ended up on the some local moorland. It was one of those days with a featureless pantone grey sky, and as I found out, precious little of interest to snap at. On my return, I quickly browsed the fruits of the day and found most of them to be lemons! The best of a bad bunch was this one of a rocky outcrop which I duly photoshopped, first by solarising it then converting it to B/W.
Comments welcome.

Impressive photo, the rock almost fell on my lap here.
Great sky also, fitting for the image.
Maybe you should restrict the levels a bit on the photo to add more contrast?

Most interesting technique. I really admire you for trying to get something out of nothing, so to speak. Dull, grey British days...difficult.

I can see a stange white line outlining the rock. Not sure what it is.

Andrew
