I love the colour of the child and his outstanding eye...what would it look like if you crop out the unfocus hand?

I like it Stefan, lovely shot, great mood and light. I can overlook the electric blue eye as that looks quite cool , however his lips are too red perhaps they could be toned down a little.

Lovely focus and depth. Beautiful expression but, you're right, Stefan, I do think it's a bit dark for the subject matter.

Thank you all it gives me some more understanding.
Didn't look so much at the lips so you're right about that one but I did tweak the eye.
Darlene A crop would harm the composition I believe. I agree that the hand isn't great and get be better taken away but not by cropping it out.
Tim his eyes are really like that, well maybe a bit less, here see for yourself.

It was also the only photo of the day so shot from an impulse most likely while playing with the camera.
Would love some comments on it and if the PP fits, probably too dark for some.
