Nice shots fantastically crisp, especially the first one. Nice detail with the walking people too, and great clouds.

I also like the wheat shot but perhaps it could do with a few bumps to the exposure? It seems a little dark.

To be honest, Tim, the original is a little brighter, but I toned it down a little to make it more "golden" and less "yellow".

And wasn't I lucky with those clouds! It looks like they were congregating over the lighthouse, like something out of Ghostbusters!

I also like the Flotsam shot Fr Ted - nicely converted, and very stark. The Wheat image: I would agree with Tim.

I've taken some licence and used LR3 on your jpg, to see how some curves would go. I upped brightness and exposure, and did notice that the yellow came into play as you said. Desaturation returned some balance to it, as below (but the amount is personal taste)-

There's some additional Contrast and 'Clarity' included, if the shot seems a little harsh or overprocessed, that could be eliminated quickly by reversing those last two adjustments (and by working on the original of course ).

I think I'll play with it later. I much prefer your version.
