Not if it's the same finish you get on the silver Limiteds - mine seem to be pretty scratch-proof so far (touches wood)

I'm surprised that no one has picked up on the story in AP (I only glanced at it in the newsagents) that Samsung are intersted in a GX30 , but have not even started to discus it with Pentax yet. They are not interested in the k-m because it's close to the new camera they are bringing out (NX is it?)

So the K30D sounds a long way off. Possibly why these facelifted versions are appearing. Nothing wrong with that really, they did it with the SFX/SFXn and Z1/Z1-P

The black FA Limiteds were originally restricted to the Japanese market, but were eventually sold everywhere. However, lenses have a much longer life than bodies, so personally I don't place much store in the possibility of them being sold here.

While I agree with George that it's doubtful it'll ever be an "official" import over here, the joy of the Internet means I can get a deposit down at a Japanese store just as easily as a UK one

There's way's and means of getting most things in life.

Only 1000 units of the Titanium bodied K20Ds and 1000 units of the Olive green K-ms would be manufactured. Dunno if they are available "only" for japan or would be available everywhere.
