Hi Mac
I recently bought a 24-90 in Exc++ condition for £179... had been looking for a while, and hadn't seen one cheaper than that (although you may of course find one...) but suspect you're probably looking at a price on or around that number...
Good luck with your search

Hi, the 24-90 is an excellent lens if you don't need a particularly wide angle - mine would be on my camera all the time if it wasn't for that. It doesn't feel as well-made as say the 17-70, but the image quality is just as good, maybe slightly sharper at some apertures. The 16-45 is likely to be easier to find though, and slightly cheaper (about £145 I would guess).

Imagine how big and heavy a 60-250mm 2.8 would be never mind the cost
The Sigma 70-200mm I have is just about manageable hand held, but not for long periods, and it's projects a full frame image circle too, perfect for that FF DSLR that we hope Pentax will make for us.
Actually, I think I read somewhere that Pentax has a 70-200mm 1:2.8 lens on the drawing board.
