Teleconverter

Hi Tony
The 18-250 isn't really a suitable lens for a teleconverter. I tried a couple when I had one and although my 18-250 was excellent, the results with the teleconverter were very poor. Add to that the light you will lose by using one coupled with the fact that the 18-250 is already quite slow at the long end and I think you would be better off saving your money.

milamber,
Thanks for your post, if the 18-250 is half as good as my 18-135 i'll be happy!

I have just bought the DA 18-250mm lens and I was thinking about also buying a teleconvertor for it.
Can anybody recommend one?
Thanks.
Tony.
