2 Year Guarantee

I have purchased a K200D, the dealer said that when I registered online I would get a 2 year guarantee. I did this about three weeks ago and have not heard anything from Pentax. Does anyone know how this process works? Thank you.

If you've registered your product and it has a 2 year guarantee then until you make a claim maybe nothing will happen.

If in doubt, I suggest you could phone Pentax and check with them.

Regarding the two year warrany, the local London Camera Exchange I bought my K200D from said I only had a one year warranty, but if I pretended that I bought it from one of their larger stores then I would get a two year warranty.

They actually registered my camera for me instore and sorted out the warranty. Just strange how one store pretends to be another just to get teh warranty extended by another year.
