That's unusual, all the one's I supply to accept ONLY jpeg !?I don`t use Jpegs in my everyday Photograpy, I shoot for a Stock Photolibrary, They only accept Tiff Files in Adobe colour space, Cconverted from RAW so this is the way i work, If i need the occasional Jpeg then i use the RAW + Jpeg button (or make an extra conversion from the RAW file).

However if you have a copy of the Freelance Photographers Market Handbook you will find several that accept only Tiff files.

It can't be any easier than right clicking on a PEF file, can it ??if you're comfortable with the command line, dcraw is fantastic for extracting jpegs from RAW.

Interesting thought John, I'm beggining to wonder myself. Comparing jpg with pef (shot together as +), there is very little difference and a quick tweak in Lightroom before it's off to the stock agency !

If, like me, your exposures aren't always spot on and you often need to rescue over- and under-exposed shots then RAW is most definitely worth the extra size and effort!
