Photoshop elements "Open As" raw type file

Has anybody used the above function, it opens any JPEG file in the Raw editor which enables you to make adjustments similar to when it is a correct PEF (Pentax RAW) file.

Will only allow simple adjustments, but could help with some JPEG's when it just needs that extra setting that is missing in the full Elements editor.

Yes - it's useful on occasion and can be good with things like tweaking white balance that can otherwise be hard with JPEGs.

Always when i edit Jpeg's although white balance is limited.

Hi, that's what I do, still getting used to RAW adjustments, but use the "open as" function where there is no raw file available (90% of photo's taken so far)
