*ist DS or K100D?

I have treated myself and bought me a K20D to replace my *ist DS. My wife has a K100D and the question that I pose my self now is: should I sell off the K100D and have my wife use the *ist DS or is it better to keep the K100D as it has shake reduction and a slightly larger screen? I think the *ist DS is the better camera (maybe by a little), but do you think the new features of the K100D outweigh that?

What does your wife think?!

Both cameras have their serious pros and cons, so it would be quite a dilema for me too, but ultimately I think I would choose by which I found most comfortable to hold. The shape of the right-hand grips is different.

I never really liked the sharp edge of the DS's grip. But not everyone agrees.

Thanks Pete; my wife has used both now and finds it difficult to make a decision too. ^_^;; Do both the K100D and *ist DS use the same sensor? In the reviews they do look very similar.

I think they share the same Sony sensor*, but the later camera arguably has more sophisticated electronics to make better use of the sensor, as well as Shake Reduction. On the other hand, it only has a pentamirror viewfinder.

* Perhaps someone else can confirm or correct this as I'm not 100% sure.
