Hello all. A new member here. I bought my K200d a few years ago now, and due to caring for my wife, who was stricken with Parkinson's and Dementia, I didn't use it much. I bought some new SD cards and discovered they wouldn't function in my camera, I read that it's the firmware (Whatever that is!) which needs updating, so I am going to do this..
I like landscape work, but mostly for recording what I have just sketched as I am also a landscape painter of sorts. I am over 80 now, and need my son to drop me off at locations where I can scout for pictures. As I gifted him my car, when he wrote his car off, via an unseen puddle! So I have had lots of practice in building improvised shelters when it turns to rain!!!
Not going to let that stop me.
Cheers.

After days of going back and fro between a Nikon D3100 and a K-r I finally bit the bullet and bought myself a shiny new K-r. So then I tought I'd come over here and try to learn how to use the bloody thing! Even as a self confessed geek some of the options and terminology are baffling but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. Anyway, just thought I'd pop in and say hello before I go off and lurk for a while.
Cheers
