This isn't as intrusive as might appear Tim. I always keep talking to the person I'm photographing and when I'm using a wide angle lens I explain why I'm in close. They always seem happy with that but if they were uneasy I'd back away. I'm further back with a tele-zoom. david

One week and counting.:D:D:D:D:D:D. I'm planning to be there at dawn if the weather's good. And I don't have a hangover! Saturday only. Gareth if you want to catch the dawn, sunrise is at 5.39 according to the Photographers Ephemeris. My suggestion would just keep going all night a bacon sand...

A few photos from London last night (19 March)
Thanks to everyone who came along last night - we had quite a decent turnout both from here and DPR forum. It's a shame the weather wasn't better so may be we'll need to try again sometime closer to the summer. In the meantime, here's a few shots. First few were taken on the way to the meeting....

PU Meet at Chester Zoo sometime in 2010???
I vote for early September, the weather will be warming up:wink: and the kids will be back at school so less crowds, plus it gives plenty of time to organise. EDIT: sorry, re-reading Howards post he cant do September so early October might be good, I think April is too short notice, plus it could...

PU Meet at Chester Zoo sometime in 2010???
If we went with October; it would be best for me if it was later on in the month rather than earlier - we are expecting our 2nd sprog in September. Just gives me time to get back in the swing of things. Though I imagine I will still be tired!

Kennet and Avon area
Reading the back postings in the local groups would suggest that the Pentaxians in the area along the Kennet and Avon Canal have never had a get-together. Chris Inkpen and I have been discussing this by e-mail, and think this should be rectified. This is aimed at Pentax User Group members in the a...
