Good price on S1
Ha. I don't find it awful, except the leds. But than, being a woman, I can quite happily wonder around with the silliest looking gear with out attracting much attention to it. Threatened my other half to send him to the shops with it hanging around his neck if he is 'naughty' - oh the look I g...

SRS - Cashback on K-50 and Free Flu Card with K-3II
It was contast detect autofocus system in live view that was improved in the K-50. Can be up to twice as fast as a K-5 (ii) Plus focus peaking added. Normal viewfinder focus is a little bit slower than the K-5 Looks like a good camera for old lenses. See this review.... http://www.pent...

Amazon - Amazon Prime day on Weds 15th July - Bargains, Maybe?
We missed it after 5 minutes, none available but strangely now the price has gone back up they are back in stock! The Lightning deals are limited to a very small number. It's not that they ever ran out of stock but that they only allocated a certain number to the Lightning deal.

Under the Sale of Goods Act the warranty is not 2 years but we can make a claim up to 6 years So if I buy from Microglobe, the manufactures warranty is 1 year, fine, the responsibility is up to Pentax , but for the EU law Microglobe is liable up to 2 years and for the UK law Microglobe is liable up...

Excellent 64GB SD card offer
Hi all, My two Toshiba 64gb cards came in todays post. They are made in Japan and are labelled 'Toshiba High Speed Professional'. They show a read speed of only 30 mb/s and only say on back of pack 'write speed lower than read speed'. I did a quick test and they seem fast enough in High to low ...

Sigma 18-35 f1.8 at SRS - 499
Got it today. I must say I'm astonished. Build quality is amazing, silent focus (I've never had HSM lens before), and the picture quality is great. As for AF these are 100% crops from first few photos. K3 II center focus point. No adjustments done, default Lightroom settings exported as 100% jpg. ...

SRS - 100-300 F4
It's the older APO (non DG) version so there could be possible focus problems on a K-3. Saying that it has a 14 day return period.

A few Cash Converters items
Yeah, I bought a Sigma MF 400mm that was full of fungus from them for £50 I think it was. Quick phone call and it was arranged to be returned and full postage costs refunded back to me so even though you have to be careful and examine it upon delivery they're pretty good if there is an issue. My loc...

A few Cash Converters items
I don't see any real bargains with them these days. They can pretty much find the going rate for stuff on the Bay or elsewhere. e.g - I doubt I would get £105 on here for my near mint DAL 55-300mm. Was harder for them a few years back and they could miss something but everything is checked now. Dav...

15mm DA for just over £130!?!?!?!!
The Amazon supplied one is back to £439 (2 in stock) . Often Google searches don't show the cheapest unless you click 'Amazon Prime eligible' on the left filters. It will be interesting to see if they honour or cancel the cheap orders. They've rumbled you lot. It is £653.84 this morning :(

Anybody fancy a new lens?
The seller had this up for sale at the same price a good few months back, but it never sold. It was on a 30 day listing and then re listed for the same again, but no takers. Obviously waited a bit and has decided to try again. Big lens .... but also big price. No comparisons to make though, so up to...
