Just a feeler this......
Alternatively an FA or DFA macro with the DA1.4x. Gives you a 140mm f4 equivalent. Can't imagine a DA*200 being much lighter than the DA*60-250. Yes you are quite right - I've just found the weight of the two lenses. The 200 is 915gm (2lb) and the 60-250 is 1240gm (approx. 2.5lbs. Add a couple o...

FS: SMC Pentax K 30mm F2.8
I have 2 copies of this early K mount oddity from Pentax - pointless keeping both so I'll offer one for sale. This copy is in very good condition - beautifully smooth focus, snappy, clean & responsive aperture, very good coatings (front and rear) - slight dust inside (typical for age) - fairly ...

FS: Infrared Converted GX20 (K20D)
Infrared opens up a whole new genre of photography. You can shoot infrared at pretty much any time of day but it’s a great alternative when the light is too harsh for normal photography or when there are clear blue skies and it wouldn’t normally be worth getting your camera out. If you’ve ever...

FS: Porst Auto MC 55mm f1.2 (pentax K)
The Porst MC Auto 55mm f1.2 is one of the fastest "standard" lenses ever made in K Mount. Images are sharp, with a slight "dreamy" look when shot at maximum aperture and sharpen more as it is stopped down. The mount is not bare metal but black paint coated - this causes issues with metering until...

FS: Laowa 60mm f2.8 2X Ultra Macro Lens
An unusual Macro lens in Pentax K mount (not KA) offering a 6cm minimum focusing distance and 2:1 magnification ratio - this copy is in excellent condition optically and cosmetically, the focus is quite firm and not as smooth as some of the more "refined" macro lenses - it's a pretty basic construct...

Wanted: 17-50 f2.8 or similar lens
I bought a Sigma 18-50/2.8 many years ago and it was very soft wide open. I took it back and exchanged it for the Tamron. The 17-50 is a different kettle of fish - very sharp with beautiful rendering. MPB have one: https://www.mpb.com/en-uk/product/sigma-17-50mm-f-2-8-ex-dc-hsm-pentax-fit/sku-1...

FS: SMC Pentax A* 85mm f1.4 plus Original Hood and Case - Excellent
I sold my "working copy" of this superb lens a little while ago and it's time for this one to move onto someone else (maybe?) - this copy is the best condition one I've owned or seen, probably the closest to mint you could find for a lens of this age. There will no doubt be a little dust and maybe a...

Sigma EX DC HSM 17-50mm F2.8 for sale
Apparently the same as the OS version (without the optical stabilization), even though the reviews vary on the other pentax site. Selling for £150, as I only bought it recently as a back-up, while my other lens went in for repairs. Both lenses work equally well and the other one is my most used le...
