FS: Pentax K1000 and bits and pieces
I bought this for my son who is doing a photography course. However everyone else is using Canon so he's turned it down. It was a job lot which I think was a house clearance and the box of kit was quite extensive. The camera is not boxed and was quite dusty and dirty when I picked it up. I've taken ...

WTB: M to PK converter
See link below Jon, I've bought several from this seller and found them to be very good. I always remove the spring clips so I can attach them permanently to the lens and they work just as a K-mount lens, except of course there's no auto aperture control. These are flush fitting, so no loss...

FS: Pentax Auto Extension Tube Set K (PK extension tubes)
I'm thinning out my collection of manual focus equipment and have a set of genuine Pentax extension tubes for sale. They're in excellent condition, as shown in the picture. I've only ever used them to mount a Vivitar Series 1 800mm solid cat to my K-5 (as, disappointingly, it doesn't clear the v...

wtd pentax A 100 f2.8 non macro
The 'M' version will be a lot cheaper than the 'A' one and it's a very sharp lens and very small. A dedicated 100mm is better than a macro because it has a better/longer focus scale. -

FS: Pentax SMC-A 28mm f2.8
Just to show what this little gem is capable of... Shot at f2.8 in the rain (I know it's not a WR lens ;) ) 1/125 sec, ISO 400 - the focus point is on the raindrop.... ...and a pretty heavy crop of the above. This one is a f5.6.. Small amount of PP (shadows & defult sharpening in Pi...

FS: Pentax SMC-A 28mm f2.8
You can't really compare this to the 18-55 as it isn't a zoom. In terms of image sharpness, the A 28mm F2.8 will be sharper, but you won't have the flexibility that a zoom affords. For video work, sharpness isn't the be all and end all; it's probably the lens character that's more important, e.g. ...

for a swap
Unless there is an AF fisheye version of the Samyang 8mm F/3.5 MC (IF) Aspherical in K-Mount, then all others are full frame AFAIK which means you only get 110° coverage and you lose more or less the whole effect, thus making it pretty redundant as a true fisheye! Pentax DA 10-17mm Fisheye Lens does...

FS: Tamron AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 LD Di macro
Hello! I am selling my first tele zoom. The reason is that I recently acquired Sigma 50-150, so I don't need Tammy anymore. It is very sharp lens, at least my copy. Macro functionality is also very useful. My copy is, as I said, very sharp and has no problem with focus accuracy. The price: 70...
