FS: Sigma 50-150mm f2.8 DC EX HSMII

I am curious to know if there is a teleconverter 1.4/1.5x compatible with this lens that retains full auto focus? Yes but nothing currently being made. There is a Tamron MC4 1.4x, Kenko 1.5x and also a 1.7x (not the Pentax converter) which all give AF to HSM/SDM lenses. Unfortunately Sigma tele...

Wanted: Pentax K-r/K-5

It might help if you let us know how much you want for your K-5? Regards David Hi David, I bought the K-5 kit from another P.U. forum member and added the Sigma 50-200 DC OS HSM lens, FOTGA LCD screen, 2nd battery and VG to it, so it owes me £725.00 in cold blood, and that's a money back pric...

Bit of a weird one !!

I bought a 10-20mm in December which developed a fault and was sent back. The repair took ages,(not SRS's fault) and I could not wait any longer so they sent out a replacement but could not process a refund. I had bid on and got another lens so the new one is surplus, like I say - bit of a weird one ...

FS: Porst 55mm f1.2

I think your problem of sharpness is due to the focus being slightly out. Try it on a tripod with a shot on focus of a box or a bottle and then without changing the focus move the bottle back 10mm, take a shot, move another 10mm and take another. Then move it back to the original position and r...

FS: Porst 55mm f1.2

I will try that. The lens has infinity focus problem. But I read that's a common issue for porst. The lens probably was reassembled and something just went wrong. I think I should have returned it. I thought it was a bargain :)

FS: Porst 55mm f1.2

Hi Algi, I tried what you said, probably not as exactly as you said, perhaps the flower moved a bit horizontally (especially 20mm front one)... but check it out. In my opinion, 10 or 20mm front from the original position is the sharpest one compared to others. 30mm back from the original position...

FS: Porst 55mm f1.2

10mm in front looks about right. Unfortunately red doesn't photograph too good and you can see that there isn't much DOF at f/1.2  I still think the lens is capable of better, there may still be a bit of camera shake. Did you have the mirror up and a 2/3 sec. delay? Sadly that's the only...

If it doesn't sell I might be interested later. The problem is I'm travelling now and will not be home (in Denmark) before June or so. WTB: Knackered prime lenses.

With the amount of people owning old lenses on here, I was wondering if anyone has any lenses with seized aperture rings or stiff focusing that they never use and want to find a new home for? Although I'm now using a Sony camera for IR (I would have converted a K-01 if it took an EVF), I find Pentax...

WTB: Knackered prime lenses.

Needs to be prime lenses, infinity focus in IR varies a huge amount through the zoom range. I don't want the bulk of a zoom stuck at one focal length. I've tried that with my smc-A 50mm f1.4 twice, John, and both times must have nudged it a touch applying the tape, and the focus was off. I'll t...
