Tamron 500mm SP plus PK adapter for sale
Relutantly putting this up for sale, as I rarely use it now that a lot of my photography is with m43. The lens is in really excellent condition and comes complete with original hood, cap and Adaptall mount (PK, not PKA). Also in the original Tamron hard leather(?) box, which is almost as new. ...

Tamron 500mm SP plus PK adapter for sale
Ahh ! Mine has a "clear" filter in. And it must be there - some filter that is - for a mirror lens to function correctly. The other filters typically supplied with a mirror lens are not for B&W per se but for exposure control. Back when these lenses were produced you could not easily c...

FS: Sigma APO MKI 70-200mm f2.8
I have Mike's first copy of this lens (bought from the person who bought it off Mike), and it is fabulous. Every time I use it (rather a lot lately, with school sports days and the local carnival parade) I am always amazed by the rich colour and contrast. Focus is much faster than any of my other le...

SWAP macro lens complete set
I am looking for a K-m/K2000 or inexpensive K-x for swap with SMC Pentax-M 100mm in excellent condition, optics clear, mechanics perfect, the only issue is that previous owner engraved some characters on the exterior paint, nothing disturbing though (see photos) Genuine Pentax back and front cap...

FS: PAIR (two!) AF200T Flash
I was going to use these as fill flash from the sides with passive triggers but I just haven't the time. Life gets in the way of winter projects. I might swap (with cash either way) for some kind of half decent 24mm f2.8, manual focus pref with aperture contacts. Come on all you macro heads s...

FS: Hoya Zooming close-up filter
Hoya Zooming close-up filter. I've not seen another one of these and it will fit any lens with a 49mm thread. its an adaptable, exciting and unusual lens attachment. It attaches to the lens and will allow variable close focus. If I had a 49mm lens I'd post an example. £30 including...

For Sale : Rare Pentax K 105mm/2.8
Beautifully crafted manual focus lens, quite rare and difficult to find nowadays. I'm selling it because I purchased DA70 + DA50-135 recently, which became workhorse lens for me. I'm not original owner, however the lens is in excellent condition. The body shows minimal signs of use that can be spo...

FS: Pentax FA 80-320mm lens
Mike; I offered my 80-320 on here a couple of times without luck (apart from silly offers) I think my last price was something like yours, anyway I decided to keep it. Then when I needed to fund my K5 it just had to go on ebay where it fetched £97 PLUS the £8 for special delivery. You need to ...

FS: Pentax FA 80-320mm lens
As you can see from Mikes pics the lens produces good results, it was regarded as being the best "budget" long zoom that Pentax made, though I dont know how that stacks up to later models. As for AF, If owners are honest they will tell you the focus speed is slow and it does tend to hunt a lot. ...

FS: Pentax FA 80-320mm lens
Anyone tell what the focusing speed is like on this lens ? As mentioned above, focus is not especially quick and it will hunt in low light but it's not too bad if your focus is close to the mark. PS; Mike, do I get commision:lol: I'll make sure my next born's appropriately named

FS: Pentax-DA 17-70mm SDM
I've been asked if I've ever had any SDM problems with this lens. The answer, in a word, is no. However, I was under the impression that the SDM problems were caused by the double focus mechanism in, for example, the DA* 16-50 and the DA* 50-135. Am I wrong about this? Have there been problems w...

FS: Pentax-DA 17-70mm SDM
As I say my version has always performed flawlessly, but I'd be interested to know if anyone's experienced problems. Thanks, Mark There's a tendency for the lens not to lock focus between 50-70mm, it's well documented on several forums. John

FS: Pentax-DA 17-70mm SDM
This issue is largely solved by lightly applying pressure on the focus ring when its turning- it works every time for me.

FS: Pentax-DA 17-70mm SDM
This issue is largely solved by lightly applying pressure on the focus ring when its turning- it works every time for me. Not an ideal solution for a £400 lens though .. and the reason I returned one I bought off Ebay (even though I got it for £220). Still looking.
