Sale: pentax a 50mm 1.4
I've now looked at your link, and the lens is manual focus, and more than 20 years old. If I were to pay over £100 for that lens, I should want it to be in absolutely immaculate condition. You have chosen to photograph it in low light with very shallow DOF so it is impossible to tell the conditi...

FS Takumar Bayonet 135mm f/1:2.8
Another lens I cannot justify keeping (I have two more that cover this length). I believe this is quite rare. It takes very nice pictures and I've included samples shot today. WTB front cover for Pentax 1.7x AF adapter
Thanks George. I had thought the same and was going to use the white cap when I received the adapter but I spoke to the guy at SRS. He felt that that wouldn't fit and that I would need the K mount cover. It's not expensive - only £6.99 but out of stock. Thanks for the link - will check it out later...

WTB front cover for Pentax 1.7x AF adapter
[/quote] Well, if you think about it, the front of the adapter must be exactly the same as the front of the camera body, or it wouldn't work. So the SRS guy is wrong, unless he meant that the old style black caps that I mentioned are better - in which case he's right. HOWEVER, it gets more compli...

Pentax User Magazine Last Back Issues
I have taken in the last of the Pentax User magazine back issues, rather than them being recycled. I will be dishing these out to camera clubs as I go, so they will steadily dwindle as I spread the word about the website. If anyone wants any issues I will send them out at 50p per copy, plus posta...

Tamron AF 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II LD Macro Lens for Pentax brand new £257 so your price slightly high Back to your old tricks I see. Pentax version is alway more expensive than the Tamron .. may be the same lens but you always pay more for the name. More than a fair price IMO.

For Sale AF Pentax-F 28mm f2.8 SMC
I'm finally selling my Pentax-f 28mm f2.8 SMC Auto Focus. It's quite an uncommon lens to see on the secondhand market. It's a really sharp prime lens. I'm only selling at as I bought the new 35mm f2.8 Macro recently and don't really need the two of them. I'm looking to sell it for £150 inc p&p (seem...

FS Pentax 35mm F2.8 Macro Limited
I ordered a 35mm F2.8 Macro Limited lens last week thinking it would be perfect for a walk around and macro work. Well it arrived today and though I am very impressed with the quality of the 30 or so test images I have taken in my garden, I feel the working distance for macro work is too small for m...

WTB: macro lens, max budget £100
Why not consider the other macro options? They've been discussed many times... * Reversing ring. About £10, but you'll need an old manual lens that has an aperture ring - even an M42 screw thread lens will do such as a 50mm, or 28mm. Total cost about £20). Since the lens mounts back-to-front you ...

WTB: macro lens, max budget £100
Hi, I'm opening up this old thread as I'm looking for a macro 'solution' again. Budget- not sure, cheaper is better but maybe £100 max I cancelled the macro lens I bought the next day as I got a good deal on a sports lens instead. So with Xmas not too far away I'm on the lookout for a macro 's...
