Myself and Daniel had a good day guys, nice to meet you all, some of you again! Here's some of Daniels, which is the first time he's ever used a camera other than a compact so I was well impressed! Mind, as you'll have noticed the number of shots taken, it took a while to get through them all on the pc!! Comment Image

Very nice and the weather, though damp, adds to the scenes. Afterall, there'd be no 'lakes' without the rain...
I grew up across there but never really apreciated the beauty until I moved away!

Cheers gents. Alan and George, I know what you mean about them being used to people. The camo net was to try and help with the Jays and Woodpecker. Got a couple of the woody but it, and the Jays were way too skittish. Mind, I did find the others were taking their time more when I wasn't so obvious, instead of flitting quickly in and out.

The detail in the Blue Tit is fantastic. Were you on a walk about or are they taken from a hide?
Well, I was sat in the car Barry! I put a camouflage net over the car, sat back and watched the action unfold! The car was that well covered, I even had a Nuthatch fly in the open door then out the other side, where the window was open!!
I admit it was lazy, but I had been up for about 20hrs by then.....

Some shots from Bolam Lake country park on Tuesday.
I was working nights, finished at 6am, so had a nice early start with some good light, rare these days.
