First time pentax buyer and forum newbie here so "hi all!"

I've just taken delivery of a WG-2 GPS and I am really pleased with it so far. Bought for my holiday in a few weeks so we don't have to lug the DSLR everywhere and can keep it for round the pool etc

Wonder if anyone can help with one thing though? I cant seem to activate the self-portrait assist mode by using the face detection button (in any mode)as per the manual. I've been through (I think!) every other menu to see if I need to enable it elsewhere but can't find anything

Any help would be gratefully appreciated - tks
