Thanks for all the help. It seems using the canon program is the way to go.

I've tried two papers, Epson premium glossy and Rymans photo glossy. Similar results on both. I will have another go today just using the canon program. I had even toyed with the idea of installing the printer on a separate computer, saving the files to a key and trying a print from there. I'm using canon genuine inks so it's a bit expensive but hopefully once set up it'll be worth it

While on the subject has anyone tried the look-alike inks from Premier Inks ? Because the printer is relatively new I haven't tried them yet.

Any help please with setting this printer up with CS5. I have tried a couple of setting but the print comes out very dark.

Running win 7 64bit
Monitor is a samsung Syncmaster 2243bw and calibrated with huey and connected to a nvidia geforce 9800 GT (the dvi socket)

Thanks in advance

While browsing the image details I noticed that "Sharpness" was set to -1. Is this the default setting? I don't recall setting it myself.

Afraid I would prefer to let the auction run - got lots of watchers already, but good luck if you bid. It's a nice camera!

Because of what it is you will probably get a good price but "Lots of Watchers" doesn't always materialise into lots of bidders.

Good Luck

Happy New Year to all.

Fishermen, wish each other, “tight lines”.

Anglers may say that, real deep water fishermen would be more likely to remark on the inclement state of the weather etc.

The party is over. Margaret insists on taking the decorations down today
I'm at the local W.I. on Tuesday morning for taking the decorations down. I'm going to see if I can get a few photographs as an aide memoire for when they have to go up again at the end of Novemember. Nothing like planning ahead

That's good news for me I've bought the cable cos it seemed a bargain and am now looking for a flashgun to go with it
