Any updates on the 7dayshop ones?

Still a mixed bag is it?
I bought the 7 dayshop variable. As I didn't know what I was doing the first attempts were dire and its been in it's box ever since . It's very easy to get a dark band where you don't want one and black corners (using the 62mm on a pentax 18-135mm). I'm sure with a bit of practice and reading up on the use of ND's it will be ok.
I fully expect to win the lottery this weekend and have my order all ready for a full set of Lee filters

How fascinating Stan - I thought they were a ground cover plant ! When would they pick them ?
Do they have varieties like left foot trees and right foot trees ? And like Clarks shoes do they have branches everywhere ?

We need to know.......................

Tony
Tony they grow on trees. I think you are getting confused with the Dutch VeryWelly plant. These can cover enormous tracts of land and are more efficient at blocking the light from a neighbours garden than the dreaded Leylandi

Hope this helps

I always wondered where clogs came from until I saw this clog tree in full bloom in Holland

Sorry for the mistake in spelling. I was typing the posting in bed whilst balancing the computer on my belly and holding a cup of tea with my other hand, no biscuits again you just can't get the staff these days.

Mel Gibson? Hasn't he gone insane or something? What we need are some real heroes like John Wayne, Ward Bond, and Audi Murphy.

Stan, your answer lies in my opening line "This isn't really pointless as it concerns alcohol"

I confess Gwyn I've never drunk a "proper" Snakebite, always considered it a waste of either beer or cider so can't comment, however the label states "blend of traditional crafted beer infused with cider apples" so I would say it's more like Belgian fruit beer, which is so long since I had some I can't remember
Oops I meant properly alcoholic. Not like the "beer" they used to sell in the Faeroe Islands and other places, where there was a great possibility of drowning well before any small inkling of inebriation would occur. They sold similar stuff in Norway too, the amzing part was the headache the next day. Not a proper hangover just feeling your head was about to explode.

Is it alcoholic? In my younger days one of cocktails was 1/2 pint cider any brand and 1/2 pint of QC red wine. Two or three of those and oblivion was guarenteed.

Super photographs Vic. I'm pleased you got some decent weather. If the girls had tried that when I was there they would have been flying for real By the way did you take a telephoto (up to 300mm) ?
