Sorry to resurrect but I need to buy a new PC and I am wondering if I accept Windows 8 or insist on XP or perhaps Windows 7. Most of my software is old and I can't afford to update, those that worry me most are CS3 and Lightroom LR 1.4 - will they work or not is what I need to know please.

I doubt you will be offered XP on a new PC. You could buy one without an operating system and install XP on it but I've had Photoshop ver 7 (the version before CS ? ) and it run ok on Windows 7. I would imagine LR 1.4 will run on this too.

You must have better offerings on TV than we have Stan!

If you decide to make use of the service offered you implicitly accept their terms and conditions, not matter how outrageous they may be.

How many of you bothered to read the T&C if this website before signing up?

And if you haven't got the wit to either close your account or not post photographs ......

Not for me, prefer music to special effects, it was nothing without the video, I played the clip for a full 15 seconds to give it a fair trial.
