Very suprised by the news that Ricoh have bought Pentax, not very happy about it, I had a compact ricoh and found it very"cheap and plasticy" soon got rid of it, I had planned to buy a bigger zoom for my K-x this year and hope that nothing will change with the buy out, Happy to stay with pentax Cheers Trixie

Because of what they're doing I'm assuming (as nobody has actually let me know) I'll be in a cast that goes past the elbow and I reckon using my K-x is going to be fairly tricky for at least a month...

I ordered a grad lens for my Pentax K-r in April from 7 day shop, Its never arrived and I keep emailing them, its on back order now, but they keep moving the delivery date, I feel its never going to arrive. Any idea where I can get one from that doesn't cost lots of money, this one is £17.00 :Thanks trixie

Welcome Blaze, dont be shy to upload your photos, I have just got K-x DSLR two weeks ago, its a great camera a quite easy to use just keep practising, the only drawback is the batteries dont last too long. You will enjoy this site I have had lots of tips, and help from lots of lovely people, so get snapping away. Cheers Trixie
