Yeh I thought that was the case but thought I'd see if there was any way to do it, it's not a huge issue as will rarely be using it and I can deal with manual mode haha!

Wasn't sure where to put this and think I may already know the answer but thought it's worth a try. I'm quite new to photography so sorry if I'm not very technical!
Basically I bought a Panagor Pentax K-Mount 2x Teleconverter for £3 the other day as I wanted to try one out and figured I couldn't go wrong for £3! Basically I'm wanting to use it on my pentax k-x camera with a tamron 70-300mm which I purchased off here a while ago, basically I just plan on using it if I really need to zoom in on something!

Anyway when I've tried it the aperture doesn't show on the camera. It works great and I can take the pictures with manual focus and with the fire without aperture or whatever it is called but it would be handy if it knew the aperture just to make it easier to expose the picture correctly!

It's not a huge issue but was wondering if it's possible for the camera to read the aperture with the teleconvertor on?

Thanks managed to get one off gumtree with a canon t50 camera in with a couple of lenses for £10 bargain! Not sure what to do with the camera, whether to sell it or give it a go haha

I recently bought a k-x on eBay with twin kit lens for £200 and I love it, they seem to go for fairly decent prices! It's easy to use but I agree does sometimes take a while to focus but its easy to learn to use. I think the lack of ability in low light put me off the k10, I also wanted video and have live view which I remember some didn't have I can't remember if the k10 did or not but may be worth checking out depending on what's important to you.

Hi I have just recently upgraded to a pentax k-x camera and I now have 3 lenses for it after purchasing a tamron 70-300mm one off a member which I love! I am looking for a fairly large bag which just goes over one shoulder which could hold the camera with 1 lens attached and 1 spare lens, (2 if possible), Don't want to spend a great deal as I'm a cheap student haha. I've seen some of the right kind of size in currys and asda for £20-£30 but ideally just wanting to pay around £10.

I'm also looking for an old version of photoshop elements (or similar photo editing programme for cheap) as my free trial of elements finished and I need some editing software! Again as cheap as possible please.
