No matter what a manufacturer does there is always someone that will have a moan that it wasn't good enough, even Canon, their stand was three times the size of Ricoh's and Canon user's were bleating on facebook that it was rubbish!.
They can't win.

I was there Sunday about 11am and had no problems with the staff, the younger one said he had only been into Pentax for a couple of weeks though but he was happy to let me put some lenses from the wall case on my K3. The older one, i guess the boss? let me try the 150-450 over at the table even when i told him it was out of my league.

A small bonus with the show was Comic con next door, o' boy was there some strange one's there for a little foto opportunity

The 120-400 actually looks like the kind i could live with, the 55-300 may be nice optics but i don't think i could live with the focus action after using the 18-135 it's night and day.

slow down guys the 120-400 is 2nd hand at £400 but the 50-500 is about £900, this conversation started with a £240 55-300 at this rate I'll need to sell the wife

Thanks for the replies guys, it looks like they did a cheap upgrade. I read a few reviews and it looks like the focusing is still like my old FA 80-320

My budget is a bit strained just now after blowing it on a K3 ,i had wanted a bigger zoom to go with it but i may have to save for something a bit better, maybe Sigma 120-400 or 150-500

Hi, Can anyone tell me if there's any difference between the Pentax 55-300's that are available just now, the three year old model and the 'WR' (weather seals) version?
