I believe that Warehouse express have a showroom in Norwich a little bit close than the frozen north. Ironically I used to travel down to Norwich three or four times a year, unfortunately we closed our office in the city centre down.

Well If you happen for whatever reason to be in the NE your more than welcome to have a play with my 55-300 and see what you think, although Suffolk to Northumberland is a little extreme for a lens test. Hope you find what you are looking for.

Is the pentax 55-300mm worth the upgrade ??? Does anyone on here own one and can recommend it.

I have both the Sigma & Pentax lenses. I purchased the Pentax 55-300 after being frustrated with the focus on the Sigma. At the time I also purchased a Pentax 16-45, this lens was radically different to the 18-55, the 55-300 did not wow me in the same way but it is an improvement on the Sigma, my only complaint is that the lens hunts a lot when trying to focus on small objects like birds. I am saving up for a DA*300 now that is a stunningly different lens.
