Most camera bags I have come across just don't work for me when hiking, they always seem to have insufficient storage for the temperamental UK weather, raincoat, waterproof trousers, first aid kit and so on. I do have an AW Trekker that has no storage space for anything other than camera gear and a AW400 flipside, this is great for day to day stuff but the body is way to short for me. As a result I always end up with the camera in its own bag and one spare lens in a pouch, both end up stuffed in my trusty deuter rucksack when the heavens open.

I think a possible hole exists in the market, maybe the first Pentax User design bag is in the offing!!!!

Great Bee shot so much detail, I'm not sure about the hover fly although the pollen stuck to its face is interesting. The wire could do with being adjusted in some way to bring out more if the metallic feel, at the moment it is a bit smooth for my liking.

Very nice - especially the water reflections on #1. The only thing I don't like about them is that they're making me consider getting a 16-45 despite the fact that I need a faster lens!
I noticed you have a Sigma 10-20, where do you feel that it fails causing you to want a 16-45, I tend to use mine between 16 & 18mm? I only ask because the 10-20 is probably my next purchase, although I had promised myself that I would save up for better quality or faster lenses from now on, I still want a DA* 300

Nice set Ted, 1 & 6 for me, I like the textures in one and the dark moodiness on 6.

Just arrived back after a second blasting in the wind, 24mph with sea spray, yum yum. Now going to rebalance the equilibrium with a pint of Red Square without added salt.

Sorry Barrie my mistake, the penalty of typing whilst listening to my other half talking about something totally different. I meant the lead in. I so often want to catch the vastness of what I see, quite often I am shooting from harbour walls leaving me high above any subject, maybe I should get a kayak?
