Well I hope you have a great time, and sort of behave yourselves without my steadying influence

Another sunny day and I have painted the front of our house, now it's time to grab camera and walk to the pub.

Just spent the last two days stripping render off the garden wall, I could not have had two better days, does this qualify as my summer.

We are arriving in Newcastle . A slight diversion on the way to Glasgow must be possible. Thank you .
Pleasure to be of service.

If you are in a hurry, you can get from the first car park to one of the viewing areas in about fifteen minutes.

I have found with my K7 that I have to set the meter to +0.7 for bright days and to -0.7 for dark shots.

Sounds like fun Gwyn.

If you happen to be passing past Newcastle on your visit to the UK, it is well worth stopping off on the Derwent valley, I counted seven pairs of Red Kites on the way home last Friday, this valley is situated no more than ten minutes off the A1.link

Congratulations on your new tripod Mark, especially as it is replacing your Red Snapper. I own one and have a love hate relationship with it, especially as a bit of badly finished metal on the plate scratched the bottom of my K7.

Glad you feel at home
