My cashback arrived yesterday, marked Cust Promo SAS £100; considering I purchased the camera in December and sent the claim off fairly quickly, I suppose you can argue that it was a slow process. BUT then its a freebie cashback and VERY welcome, part of the overall consideration that swung the deal to Pentax over Nikon/Canon.......

Does any one have any suggestions for a rucksack/backpack style camera bag that would primarily be used for mountain biking. I don't do anything too extreme so don't anticipate any heavy falls; I just need a rucksack style bag for a K7 c/w lens and maybe one other lens. Obviously I also need space for a few personal bits and bobs and nothing too heavy. I was looking at the Lowepro Trekkers and wondered if anyone had any experience as to whether these are suitable?

I've been stalking this forum for some time now and found the topics interesting and finally decisive in helping me with my choice of dslr.
Last year I purchased an Epson V750 scanner to start scanning the thousands of negatives /slides that I had taken in the 70's/80's and this little project (ongoing by the way) re-ignited my interest in photography. Having previously used an Olympus OM-10 and Penatx SF-7 I decided to start afresh with a new camera and after many hours of looking over reviews etc, I took the plunge and purchased a K-7 with both kit lenses.
So far very pleased with my purchase although taking time to get to grips with everything. Took some advice and ditched the manual for a copy of the excellent Magic Lantern guide, so I am now trying to re-learn the art of photography with a camera which I bought to grow in to..
I've got a full time job so this is purely an indulgent hobby but I hope to learn from this forum and maybe one day will get some photos on the forum
