So with the demise of JPS who now repairs Pentax gear?

This is what the raw file looks like in Lightroom - cropped only

And after saving only in RawTherapee then editing in Lightroom, because I don't understand RawTherapee. It is what it looked like in camera.

Very nice - how were these snapped and processed?
All taken using a K1ii & DFA150-450. All at 450mm f5.6 ISO1600. Fifty shots were taken of each subject, after culling the dross I put them through Deep Sky Stacker and it chose the best 80% of what was left. Cant remember the final figures except Andromeda which was 40 shots stacked.

This is amazing. I've wanted to get back into astro but haven't ever managed to pick myself up for it.

Were you at a dark site for this?
I am in Lanzarote so yes, dark skies. Not a lot of light pollution but there is some.

Seriously impressive! Was this using the accessory astrotracer or the integrated one in K1/K1.II?
I used the K1ii and DFA150-450 for this but have had equal success with the O-GPS1 on my K3 in the past. Stacking the images and using dark frames has made a huge difference to how the images end up and enables higher ISO settings for greater sensitivity.

If you're not using the Astrotracer, why on earth not! It is simply awesome, takes a bit of getting used to but just look at the results
This was 33 images stacked in Deep Sky Stacker. Each image was 10 seconds f5.6 ISO1600 @ 450mm also 10 darks were used to smooth out the noise.
