Karlo You'd be suprised at how easy it actually is to photograph the moon handheld. I have done it with a 500mm lens.
Ideally you want as near to full... 85% plus... and the higher in the sky the better. Less atmosphere to shoot thru :smile::smile::smile:

Always shoot the moon in manual! It's amazing at how high you can get the shutter speed!
