Hmmm... quite a nice shot, but I'll tell you what doesn't work for me here: focus and light. The focus isn't right, you have to have the eyes tack sharp, and here the focus is somewhere else, it's shifted to roughly where her ears might be, it's not on her face. It happens to me quite often, too, with my Tamron 17-50. And the light could have been more diffused, for me it's too visible in the f ...

You may not believe me, but I was having fun with my Tamron 90mm macro, 1.7x Soligor teleconvertor and some focus stacking just last week, and one of my ideas was to shoot exactly this thing! Only my pen is blue :-) But I never got to actually shooting it. Great job, and what a coincidence, for me at least!
