I’ve decided to switch brands so I am selling all my Pentax gear. Before I put this up on e-bay I thought you might be interested in some very well looked after kit (and in some cases some mint and hardly used kit)

I will send all items special delivery guaranteed next day by 1pm and have factored in postage to the asking price. I can only post to mainland UK. Goods will be despatched once payment clears and I would prefer paypal or bank transfer.

K10D with DBG2 Battery Grip, 2 batteries. Both items in very good condition sold together and both boxed with all original box contents, circa 13,000 clicks over 3 years. A little speck of dust in the viewfinder- that will not appear on the recorded image (the mirror and sensor are clean). £260.

Pentax 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 SMC DA Boxed, lens hood and instructions etc £70

Pentax 50mm A SMC f2.0 – absolute cracker in low light and would make a great partner for the manual Triplus extension tubes below. Lens £45

Triplus APK extension tubes, set of 3 (12, 20 and 36mm) in a nice little case. In excellent condition. No auto focus contacts £50.

Sigma 70mm f2.8 EX DG Macro. Dedicated macro lens, absolute cracking lens with lens hood, case, box and instructions. Very good condition. £250

Jessops PKA/AF extension tubes, set of 3 (13, 21 and 31mm). Rare to find a set in such good condition with contacts for AF. £90.

Sigma 1.4 APO DG Tele Converter, with case, box and instructions. £110

Sigma 10-20mm wide angle lens f4-5.6, what can I say, great fun will be had with this lens! Boxed with lens hood, case and instructions. Very good condition. £290

Sigma 120-400mm f4.5-5.6mm. I bought this lens as an upgrade to my tamron but found I preferred landscape and macro work. This lens is in mint condition as I have used it only a 4-5 times and it is under a year old. Boxed, case, lens hood, tripod ring and instructions. £490.

Tamron AF70-300mm f4-5.6 Di telephoto and Macro combination lens. Cracking lens, light and versatile. Boxed, lens hood and instructions. £80.

Pentax AF360FGZ flashgun. The gem in this bundle because I’ve used it about twice. Immaculate. Box, case and instructions. Can be operated remotely via the K10D firmware upgrade. £180.

For all lenses I have kept my kit exceptionally clean, they are free from marks and all glass is spotless (I’ve used filters to protect them).

To see what is possible with this kit please visit my pentax portfolio for a work using a variety of this kit.

Alternatively anyone wanting the lot, which would be in excess of £3.5k new can have it for £1.8k… a bargain for someone wanting a complete kit to start up.....

I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Best Wishes

Simon

I should point out that all the kit has been owned from new with the exception of the two sets of extension tubes, the 50mm lens and the 1.4 teleconverter.

In additon, all kit is free from marks, dents or blemishes - its been stored properly when not in use and loved when in use!

I can post images of kit anyone is interested in

thanks

Arse - been thinking of the 70mm Macro for a while and you live in the same city but just bought a kiteboard so that means no toys for a while.

Would have reconsidered my purchase if I'd seen this.

ISO re the jessops tubes I will have a little play this evening and get back to you. I bought them to extend my macro capability beyond 1:1 with an autofocus lens

The triplus tubes work best with my 50mm lens as everything is manual (other than the aperture on the ap.ring)

Talk later

Hi Simon,

Alas, I'm new to the forum, so I can't send you a PM yet.

I'm interested in the 50mm lens and the flash unit for my K-x.

I can pay by paypal or bank transfer - no problem either way. Paypal preferred, because you'll get it quicker, and thus I might get the items quicker too!

I would like for my father in law (who lives in Plymouth) to pick up in person or (if you'd prefer) for you to drop off in Central Park area of Plymouth (once I've called father-in-law to confirm that's ok with him). He's visiting us this weekend so it'd be good to have it with him this week.

What would be your best price in that situation?

You may be able to PM me directly (not sure) but I may still not be able to respond, in which case please feel free to bung me an email address or reach me on my-forum-name at my-forum-name dot com (substituting accordingly).

I will of course understand if you'd rather not deal with a relatively new forum-member. My parole officer says I'm quite trustworthy now, as long as I stay away from gold bullion and Princess speedboats (joke, btw... )

Hope to hear from you. Regards,
Neil

Neil I will try and pm you as I'm happy to help. If that doesn't work we will have to think of another way. If your parole officer is happy to let you loose that's good enough for me!
