Jack, the link you provide leads to a product that is not from Pentax. It looks like a good buy, but do you think it will work well on a KM and AF360FGZ?

On a more general note, if one can use wireless, why does one need these adapters? If I can find a way to hold my flash gun to a tripod stably and safely, do I need this stuff?

I have a Pentax KM 9 (a.k.a K2000) and I'm thinking of buying the AF400T. I understand that I won't have P-TTL or TTL. I understand from Womble's posting that I will be able to use auto and manual mode. Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly is auto mode? I will need a chord to connect the camera with the flashgun. Will I also need an adapter to change the voltage, because the voltage of the flash is too high for the camera? Many thanks for any help you guys can provide. These forums are a life-saver for newbies like me.
