Hi all,
I have not used my flash for a while and today I picked it out from my bag and it was completely dead. Checked the batteries and they are fine but there is absolutely no response when turning it on.
What could be wrong? Is there anything to do or try before handing it over to a service center?

I had a good talk with the seller. He would take it back, No questions asked, but we agreed upon a very reduced price. I believe I can find good use for it shooting wide open. IQ at f2.8 is quite stellar imho.
Maybe at some point I will try to clean the aperture blades and see what happens
How much would it cost for someone skilled to disassemble and put it back together assuming nothing serious is wrong (just a rough estimate)?

But doing a bit of macro the last few days I have experienced quite a bit of "hunting".
Is this a common thing with this lens? Are there any general advice on lenses hunting and how to minimise this?
